Church of the Holy Trinity

  • Cantata 171

  • Orchestral Suite #4

  • “Dona Nobis Pacem,” from B Minor Mass

  • A beautiful, historic venue

Amor Artis continues its decades-long tradition of heralding the New Year with exalted music by one of our greatest composers. The ensemble will be led by violinists Chloe Fedor (praised by the New York Times for her “lovely, plush, seductive tone”) and Jacob Ashworth (hailed by the Boston Globe for his “exacting and sensitive” interpretations). You will enjoy some of Bach’s most spirited music, including the beautiful motet, Der Geist Hilft, a cantata written for New Year’s, the dazzling Orchestral Suite #4, and the virtuosic Concerto for Three Violins.
